Next enjoy a walk through the jungle and sub-tropical rainforest as you follow natural trails and the fresh water stream - a valuable source for local villagers. The excursion also includes a stop by a fisherman’s village to observe the cultural traditions and efforts of environmental protection towards the marine life in local waters. You will also have the opportunity to journey by long-tail boat to a fish farm where you can experience first-hand the way the fisherman have adapted their methods to ensure a bountiful harvest continues to help earn a living for their families.

No exploration of the island would be complete without a visit to the local market where villagers shop daily to stock up on fresh produce. Here you will be invited to sample some exotic island fruits and find out more about local vegetables. There will also be a chance to purchase some ingredients which you will be taught how to prepare and cook upon returning to the resort.
