Koh Yao Yai Village Resort is focused on providing care, confidence, comfort and safety to all guests and staff members within the new COVID-19 environment under SHA-Plus programme. Our hotel has been officially certified with SHA-Plus certification programme in accordance to Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, in recognition of the highest hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards. In addition, we have provided additional outlines, with clear procedures in which are to educated and empowered our employees to take care of guests and each other.
Apart from the Management team and staff members who are responsible to ensure that all the measures are applied according to instructions of the Ministry of Health, the Health & Safety Officer of the Hotel will monitor closely the process and report directly to the Management for any issues or problems. Koh Yao Yai Village endeavours to keep current with all applicable regulations and takes all necessary actions, preventive measures and precautions strictly to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to guests, staff and associates throughout the property. In addition, all of our staff members are 100% fully vaccinated.

Strictest Safety Regulations
The resort follows strictest measurements for regular temperature check, hands disinfection, face covering medical-graded masks, and ensuring all areas across the properties are well maintained in clean ambiences with stringent hygienic standards while our staff members are obligatory to undergo routinely COVID-19 swap-testing and maintain physically and socially distancing rules for without exception.

Staff members will be wearing masks at all times without exception and all guests (age 3 and above) will be required to wear a mask in public spaces, with the exception of while eating or drinking at the table of one of our dining venues, pools or beach.
Restaurants and bars are operating with reduced capacity, physically and socially distanced floor plans.
There is a 24-hour minimum between sanitising the villa and the next guest.
Our implemented measures
All areas including common touchpoint of the hotel will be disinfected daily with the highest standards approved products.
Public spaces are disinfected at a minimum of every three hours with particular attention to high touch points, such as door handles, racks, and other hard surfaces.
Hand sanitisers, hospital-grade disinfectant sprays, gloves and masks are placed in key areas throughout the resort.
After each guest departs, chairs and tables are sanitised
For fitness centre, a mask is required at all times. Cardio machines are physically distanced and will be sanitised after each use.
Protocols and Action
Upon arriving, there is a screening procedure that includes temperature checking and questions regarding health and recent travel. Temperature checks and a screening questionnaire are required upon check in.
There are multiple screening stations across the property that include daily temperature checks and screening questionnaire.
